Gallop 4 The Greenways is an annual event organized by Valley Forward to support our growing network of pedestrian and bike friendly trails. Net proceeds from the event go to Pathfinders for Greenways, whose members volunteer their time and energy to maintain existing trails, and to build new greenways throughout the Roanoke Valley.
There's Something for Everyone
You don't have to be a runner to take part in the festivities. In addition to the 5K Run, we will also offer a Family Fun Walk, and a Kids Fun Run sponsored by Fleet Feet. After the race, we'll have a party in Elmwood Park with great food, live music and prizes. The 3rd Annual Gallop 4 The Greenways will be held on May 9th, 2009, and we’re looking forward to our most successful event ever.
